Alisann has been an accomplished artist for over 30 years.  Her work has been on exhibit in galleries throughout the United States.  She has a  passion for color and it is reflected in all of the art she creates.

Buildings, doorways and windows have been a favorite subject for her since studying art at the El Paso Museum of Art as a teenager.  Through the years she has painted the doors and windows of wherever her travels and life has taken her.  Alisann photographs her subject matter and then paints in a style called "photo realism."

Alisann also loves to create when it comes to sewing and her crochet work.  Recently she launched a new clothing line of vintage 1950's inspired aprons.  All of her aprons are made from authentic 50's apron patterns and the fabric used is either repurposed or mid-century reproduction fabric.  Each one created and hand-sewn by Alisann.

Alisann believes art exists in all creations done by hand.  That includes her paintings, fabric, crochet and fiber works.

Her love of dogs has become a new subject.  Alisann and her family have adopted 6 rescue dogs since 2000.   Alisann's oldest daughter has taken her passion for dogs and started a non-profit organization 501(c)(3)(www.incred-a-bull.org) with their focus on dogs labeled as "agreesive breeds" including pit bulls and pit bull mixes. Through educational outreach and advocacy, they strive to dispel the myths and stereotypes that have tarnished the image of America’s Dog. A portion of each dog related piece sold will be donated to an animal rescue organization as they need our help-especially now.

We hope you enjoy all the art displayed here.  Blessings,   Alisann
